Semirara Training Center, Inc. (STCI) is a non-stock, non-profit TESDA-accredited educational institution supervised by the Society of The Divine Word. The school is owned by the Semirara Mining and Power Corporation (SMPC) and is intended, but not exclusively, for the dependents of the company's employees, as well as people of Semirara and the neighboring islands of Caluya, particularly Out of School Youth who wish to pursue Technical Vocational courses. The STCI Board of Trustees governs the school and has entrusted Training Center Director (TCD) to execute their plans and policies.

Whether you’re a student, educator, or professional seeking to enhance your capabilities, our diverse range of training programs caters to various interests and aspirations.

 

Under the Office of the Training Center Director is the Administrative Office who executes the plans and programs pertaining to academic and administrative matters of the school entrusted to him by the Training Center Director. He is responsible for maintenance for all qualifications and programs ensuring that the curriculum meets Technical Education and Skills Authority (TESDA) standards. It is under the leadership of the Administrative Head who has jurisdiction over the Sector Heads and Non-Teaching Staff.

Technical and Academic

  • Provide relevant technical and academic programs and services, as well as multidisciplinary offerings where applicable.

Automotive Servicing NC I

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of an individual in the field of automotive servicing in accordance with industry standards. It covers core competencies such as; performance of basic engine servicing through removal and reinstallation of components for gas and diesel engines.

Computer Systems Servicing NC II

This course is designed to develop & enhance the knowledge, skills, & attitudes of a Computer Systems Service Technician, in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic and common competencies in addition to the core competencies such as to install and configure computers systems, set-up computer networks and servers and to maintain and repair computer systems and networks.

Driving NC II

This course is designed to equip the individual the desirable attitudes and skills of the land transport light vehicle driver in accordance with industry standards, including the regulatory requirements issued by appropriate regulatory bodies, government and/or private.

Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II

This course is designed to equip individuals with operational skills in Electrical Installation & Maintenance NC level II particularly in installing and maintaining electrical wiring, lighting and related equipment/systems in residential houses/buildings where the voltage does not exceed 600 volts.

Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes in Shielded Metal Arc Welding in accordance with industry standards.

Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC II

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of SMAW Welder in accordance with industry standard.
