Borrowing guidelines for students

Present your student I.D to the Library personnel.

Fill out the Borrower’s form.
Fines/Penalties

Php 1.00 per day (for students only)

Lost and damaged books must be reported immediately to any library personnel on duty. Lost books must be paid according to its current price or must be replaced with exactly the same title or subject that is related to it. The payment for damaged book will correspond to the damage caused.
3.
Fines for overdue books will be collected and audited annually by the finance officer. Fines for damaged and lost books will be settled in the finance office.
Guidelines For Electronic Database Searching

Online Access Public Catalog (OPAC) is available only to DWSSII school personnel and students.
All online resources that are inputted in the database are free of charge but cannot be printed, nor reproduced. Any individual violating this guideline is subject to penalty under the Copyright law of the Philippines.

If technical errors occur, contact your librarian or library staff immediately to address the problem. Then wait for the confirmation of the staff before searching again.
Library General Rules And Regulation For School Personnel

Upon entering the library, faculty and staff must register in the library users’ logbook and fill out the required information.
2.
Bag must be left at the circulation desk upon entering the library. However, you should bring your valuables and other materials like laptops, smartphones wallets, etc.
3.
The library will not be responsible for any loss in the premises. Lost items will be stored in the “Lost Item Box”. In claiming a lost item, the user should verify the date or time he/she left the item in the library and register the in lost item logbook.
4.
Silence must always be observed. Educational noise is considered as long as it will not distract other users.
5.
Cleanliness must always be maintained. There will be no eating and vandalism inside the library. Library users should always keep things in order. Only library personnel are allowed to eat inside the library during their lunch break.
6.
Books and other materials are to be used properly. Dishonesty, defacement and damaging of library property are serious offenses and offenders will be liable for disciplinary action.
7.
Any library collection should not be taken out from the library without the permission of the librarian or library staff.
8.
Activities such as playing, sleeping, loitering are strictly prohibited.
9.
Before leaving the library, he or she must return the chairs properly and quietly by lifting them so that no noise is produced that can distract other users.
